Diamond Oaks wines are handcrafted to express their full potential. The finest select fruit is harvested, vinified, and aged in separate lots, according to specific clonal selections and designated blocks of vines within each vineyard. This special, individual lot winemaking strategy affords our winemaker a full palate of flavors from which to compose the fine wines of Diamond Oaks.

2005 Diamond Oaks Carneros Chardonnay
Silver Medal Winner, 2007 San Francisco International Wine Competition
Bronze Medal Winner, 2007 Finger Lakes International Wine Competition
With only a small portion of French Oak aging, the wine is fruit-forward with clean crisp green apple flavors accented by hints of honeydew, pineapple and pear. An essence of vanilla bean enhances the smooth subtle finish. Pair this wine with creamy pasta dishes such as fettuccini Alfredo or Primavera. This wine will also work well with take-out chicken chow mein or simply enjoyed with a big bowl of buttered popcorn.

2005 Diamond Oaks Mina Ranch Chalk Hill Chardonnay
Refreshing hints of tropical fruit aromas combined with flavors of hazelnut and buttery oak, 100% barrel fermented and 100% malolactic fermentation. Perfect with seafood, pork and poultry while standing up to hefty cheeses without compromise.

Particular vines are chosen by the winemaker to create this full-bodied, luxurious wine. Butterscotch aromas and crisp tropical fruit flavors are beautifully balanced with notes of apple leading to a lingering finish with hints of butter and oak. 100% barrel fermented, 100% malolactic fermentation. Aged 11 months in French Oak.

The cold Carneros climate has long been known for producing Pinot Noir of extraordinary quality. This wine begins with enticing aromas of cherry and spice leading to flavors of raspberries and strawberries with cream accentuated by the slightest hint of cedar. This is a satisfying and well balanced wine.

2003 Diamond Oaks Merlot, Carneros
This Merlot exhibits flavors of succulent black cherries coated in delicate milk chocolate followed by hints of black licorice and blueberry essence. Cedar and mineral notes complement the soft tannins. This wine pairs well with cheeses such as jack, gruyere and aged parmesan and can be enjoyed over the next five years with roasted pork, barbeque or a variety of game meats.
